As for spikes I run in Nike Zoom victories, however when running the 3200 at home I use my Nike Zoom Waffle Racer 8 since our track sucks. Haha. Good luck everybody!!!

xccris asked: Nike Jasari or Nike Kennedy. Probably the Jasari's though because they have the most comfortable upper of any spike I have ever used. They are from 1998 but they are much more comfortable than Vics or Tumbos.

foreverperfectionist asked: for the 800m (if you're decently fast): get out fast so you don't get stuck behind a massive mob. then tuck in behind second or third and pace with them if you can, but leading puts you in a tough spot unless theres literally no competition. if you're indoors kick on the last two-thirds of a lap (or last half lap if you're outdoors)

xccris asked: Sub 15:10 5k. Sub 4:10 1500. Maybe a sub 2:00 800. We'll see. As for spikes. I've already used Nike Kennedy's (White), Nike Miler (Kenyan), and will be using Eldoret Milers and Ventulus 2 this weekend. I have 20+ to choose from.

He gives me a film canister and tells me to put all my fears, all my doubts, everything negative into that film canister. And then when I put the top on and seal it all away, I'm able to relax and focus on the coming race. I know it's silly, but it actually really helps!

1st meet recap.
